You need to have a person in your who understands technology

A business owner needs a website. They don't know anything about websites, which is completely fine. They find the first web developer who quotes them 5-6k for a basic website.
But if they had a tech person on their team, that person would immediately know: What features you actually need What features you don't What should actually cost 5k What should cost a few hundred
That tech person would've saved you thousands just by knowing the industry standards.
This applies to everything tech related. Whether its implementing AI, choosing the right CRM, or picking marketing tools. Having someone who understands this stuff will save you from overpaying or buying things you don't need.
Think about it. Everything is moving towards tech. Social media, automation, AI, all of it requires tech knowledge. Having someone who can instantly verify if you're getting a good deal or being overcharged is invaluable.
You wouldn't let your nephew do your taxes. So why are you making tech decisions without proper guidance?
