If all you do on your business page is talk about what you offer, you’re training your audience to skip your content. I see this mistake often, posts that say, “We do this, we offer this, 50% off, buy now.”

Here's the thing: People predict what’s coming, so they start ignoring your posts just like they do with TV commercials. You’re missing a huge opportunity to build real connections with your audience.

Of course, you can promote your services 5-10% of the time, but the rest of your content should provide value. Offer free insights or advice related to your niche. Talk to your ideal customers, but don’t sell to them in every post. People don’t want to be sold to all the time, they want to learn or be entertained.

Save the selling for your ads. Let your content be about building trust and providing value. That’s how you create a loyal following.
