Why Your Business Content Isn't Converting (And How to Fix It)

Converting means to turn a viewer into a potential sale, & I do this with getting 500-1,000 views on my clips on IG, so I am my own biggest case study that works and how I implement what I do for others.

This works better for b2b offers, so if you're a b2b business, this will be useful for you.

The difference between targeting b2c and b2b is the size of the audience you can talk to.

If you own an agency where you can only sell your services to people that need to be making 7 figures, have 200 leads coming and be in the United States, you've effectively removed 99% of the population from your target audience market. So now you're going all in on that 1%, which is still a very big pool of people and if done correctly, this is very scalable assuming you have a fantastic offer that raises an eyebrow.

B2C you have the whole population to talk to, you might have certain filters to reduce that number which is good but comparable to B2B it will always be bigger.

I say this to highlight the importance on the actual numbers on your social media, if you're that agency owner in the example, and you manage to get 5,000 followers but all of those 5,000 followers are your ideal audience, then you have an extremely high quality list which you need to actively keep in touch and sell to. You need to stop caring about views and likes as b2b.

You're using social media to show what you can do for the people you can help and talk to them ONLY.

Then when you start running ads, which as a b2b offer you need to, you'll notice that your ads start performing well.

Ads Bring People In, Content Keeps Them Interested

  • Ads attract people to your business, but content is what keeps them engaged. Once people click on your ad, your content (like blogs or service pages) helps them learn more and decide if they want to take the next step.

Example: An ad brings someone to your website, but it's the blog posts or videos that convince them to stay and learn more.
