Why hopping programs is ruining your progress
If you're hopping from coaching program to coaching program every few months...
You're wasting your time.
Here’s why,
Let’s say you join a program with 200 other people. You might get 5 minutes of feedback every week, if that.
In that short window, how can a coach possibly understand the full scope of your business?
They can’t. So what you’re getting is… a guess. Maybe an educated one, but still a guess.
In the book Thinking in Bets, Annie Duke breaks it down clearly:
Even elite decision-makers operate with only 20% of the available information.
If you’re not showing up, not giving updates, not doing 1-on-1s, that coach might only have 5% of the picture.
That’s not strategy. That’s poker.
You might break what’s already working, or follow advice meant for someone in a completely different place.
That’s why I tell people:
If the program is good, stay.
Show up.
Ask better questions.
Give better updates.
The more your coach knows, the better the advice gets.
You help them go from 5% clarity to 50%, maybe even 80%.
And that’s where the breakthroughs happen.
Most people leave before they ever get to that point.
They show up to 2 calls in 90 days and say “this didn’t work for me.”
When in reality, they never gave it a real shot.
So here’s my take:
Give it 12 months.
Let the advice compound.
Let your participation sharpen the feedback.
And let the right strategy find you.
Play the long game.
