Video Tricks You Need to Know for Better Performing Content
Start Strong, Keep It Short, Use Visuals, Keep It Value-Driven
If you’re creating short-form content, there are a few key tricks that will help your videos perform better:
Start Strong: In the first 3-4 seconds, say something interesting or immediately get into what the video is about. Think of it like the climax of a blockbuster movie. If there’s any delay, whether you’re introducing yourself or waiting to start, people will scroll away. They don’t have time to waste, and editing can really help with this.
Keep It Short: Aim for under 60 seconds, preferably around 45 seconds. Cut out any fluff and get straight to the point. Viewers don’t need sub-details, they’ll understand your message if you deliver it clearly.
Use Visuals: Make your clips more engaging by showing more than just yourself. Incorporate B-roll, stock footage, or other visuals to keep things dynamic and visually interesting.
Keep It Value-Driven: Remember, your content is for the viewer. Make sure they find value in it, whether it’s educational, entertaining, or informative.
Implement these tricks and watch your content performance improve!
