Thinking About Running Ads for Your Business? Read This First
If you’ve been thinking about running ads for your business by yourself or maybe you’ve already tried and it didn’t work listen up.
If you want to run ads on your own, be prepared to spend 4-6 months just experimenting with funds and learning how it actually works. By month 6, you might start figuring out parts of it and acquire some leads. And that’s not even mentioning the backend processes, which are a whole different topic.
If you’ve been in business for 2+ years and have funds for marketing (which you should if you want to scale), I highly recommend outsourcing. Find the “who,” not the “how,” because you’ve got other things to handle. Yes, it might cost more upfront, but you’ll get results 4x faster than if you tried to do it yourself with the limited time you have.
However, if you’re just starting out with 1-2 clients, don’t dive into ads yet. A few years ago, I would have suggested a different strategy, but ads are more expensive now. In the early stages, focus on other resources to scale up, and then look into ads once you’ve hit a certain point.
