The Only Reason You Should Be Creating Content. READ.
People don't buy from who they like.
They buy from who they trust.
That's the number one premise of content. Build trust.
But here's where most people get it wrong.
They think content is just a store bought item. You post something, and trust automatically comes into play.
No.

You still need to work on the strategy. You still need to make sure that what you're saying is actually impactful. You still need to make sure people care about what you're talking about.
If you're just talking in front of the camera with no strategy, no one will care.
And here's the other thing.
Before you run any ads, before you do any paid stuff, you need to create content first.
Content is where credibility comes into play.
If you're in the high ticket space, or if you're in a position where people will naturally do their research, you need to give them enough research material.
You need to give them enough so they can come to a good conclusion by themselves.
If you don't have anything for them to find, it's not going to work.
Some people still don't understand this concept.
They think a cool website with some cool images is enough.
It's 2026. Nobody cares about that stuff.
A website is step 2 or 3 of the research process.
Step 1 is people are in scanner mode.
They're scanning your content. They're making a decision in microseconds.
If they don't like what they see, they move on.
So you want to make sure that within those microseconds, you have enough impressive stuff on there.
Enough for them to quickly browse through and come to their own conclusion.
Whether that's a follow, a like, saving your post, sending it to a friend, or even better, applying for a call and becoming a sale.
That's what content does when it's done right.
Now, let me be clear.
A couple of businesses can be exempt from this.
Local plumbers. Local electricians. Demand capture businesses.
If someone has an electrical issue, they're going to Google it and call the first person they find. They're not going to check that person's Instagram to see if they're verified.
But for everyone else, this matters.
High ticket items. Online services. Lawyers. Doctors. Real estate. Professional services.
If you have more trust than your competitor, you get more business.
That's just how it works.
So here's what you need to do.
Stop treating content like a checkbox. Stop posting random stuff with no strategy.
Start building trust.
Show your expertise. Show your results. Show your process.
Give people enough material to research you and come to the conclusion that you're the right choice.
And do it before you run ads.
Your content is your credibility. Your credibility is your trust. Your trust is your sales.
If you skip this step, your ads will fail. Not the ads themselves. Your ability to convert them.
Build trust first. Then scale with ads.
