The "I Just Want Leads, I Don't Care About Views" Myth
I hear this on almost every sales call. A business owner will tell me they do not care about going viral, they do not care about likes, and they do not care about views. They just want leads. It sounds like a smart, business-focused mindset, but it completely misunderstands how marketing actually works.
You cannot get leads without views. Attention precedes revenue. There is no such thing as a video that gets thirty-one views but somehow generates five high-ticket leads. If nobody is watching your content, nobody is buying your service. The views are the top of the funnel that eventually filters down into the leads you actually want.
When you say you do not care about views, what you are really saying is you do not care about reach. And if you do not have reach, you do not have a marketing system. You have to capture attention first. Once you have the eyeballs, then you can worry about converting them into paying clients.
