The Content Opportunity Window, Why Starting Later is Harder.
Some industries are easier to create content for compared to others and this is something we've realized over time and also understood why. There are levels to the content game and some industries are on level 4 some are on 2 and some climbing faster than the others.
And no, by easy I don't mean by the script, the editing etc.
This is more geared towards performance and how long it takes for a certain industry to see results.
Let me explain: If you started creating content as a realtor in 2020, you would stand out immediately just by the factor of you "creating content" and of course it works. Looking at it now in 2024, going into 2025, if you started creating content as realtor, that's not enough - its good that you're creating content but so are 50,000 others in your area. So now you have to ask the questions: how can I differentiate myself from others? how does my content stand out? why should people listen to me? what is my actual strategy with this? should I target a specific audience?
Throughout this explanation, you might've caught the difference between the levels and complications between them.
On the other hand, I will say financial advisors and strategists or people in the insurance industry even are slowly becoming a level 2. We get alot of them on calls and they are aware that they need content, which is a fantastic thing to do.
If your industry is at a level 1-2 you need to be creating content almost immediately because it does get tricky later on and you would have to take in more steps on separating yourself out.
If you're into stocks, think of it buying shares when the price is neutral and has potential vs buying a stock when its vigorously going up - one has more benefit than the other.
