Stop Trying to Perfect Your Ad Before Running It
Launch first, optimize later
If you haven’t run ads before, here’s something you need to stop doing immediately: trying to perfect your ad before it’s even launched.
I’ve seen this happen countless times, people will spend weeks fine-tuning the copy, the headline, the visuals, the captions, thinking that they’re going to nail the perfect ad right out of the gate. The reality is, the perfect campaign is decided by data, not what you think looks best.
Why Data Always Wins
You won’t know how your ad is going to perform until it’s live and you’re getting actual feedback. Trying to make it “perfect” before you’ve gathered that data is just wasting time. The market and the platform’s algorithms will tell you what’s working, not your initial guess.
What Can You Do Instead?
Launch first, optimize later: Get the ad live, collect the data, and make adjustments based on real performance.
Consult with an expert: They can help you get an ad up and running quickly with a strategy behind it.
Outsource it: Sometimes it’s best to let someone who knows what they’re doing handle it for you.
The goal here isn’t perfection from the start, it’s progress and optimizing along the way.
I will be talking about the Decline of google search on my next article, stay updated for that one, it’s a very important read for all business to help you prepare for a storm.
