Simplify your social profiles

Stop having multiple profiles. Many of you want four different pages: a personal page, a business page, a travel page, and a cars page.

Having multiple pages of yourself will confuse people who look you up. They’ll wonder, “Which page should I follow?” and the people who should be going to your business page might end up on your personal one.

Here’s what you should do if you want multiple pages:

• Make sure the one you are most active on is the most public and accessible.

• If you want a personal profile, create an account that doesn't show up when your name is searched and set it to private.

• If you have multiple businesses, choose which one you want to be the face of the brand and keep them as separate brands.

Only use one page for yourself where you create content. Keep it simple and clear.
