Why You Shouldn’t Rely on Graphics Posts

You guys already know how I feel about graphics posts, those customizable templates businesses put on their feeds that do absolutely nothing organically.

If your page has 200 followers and you’re not posting any videos, you’re not going to grow. If you’re only posting static graphics, Instagram won’t push your content. Video platforms prioritize video content now. Unless you have 50k+ followers and each of your graphics posts gets 1,200 likes, it’s unlikely to show up on the explore page.

Here’s how we use graphics posts:
First, we make sure we’re consistently posting videos to build a following. Then, we custom design our graphics posts to keep the brand consistent. The goal is to deliver the message or value of the graphic post to an engaged, growing audience. That’s how you maximize the effectiveness of a graphic post, it actually delivers the message when people are there to see it.
