Referrals are the best sources of leads they come from satisfied customers who pass on their trust in your business to others, they cost almost nothing to get, their Lifetime is greater and they are pleasant to work with you from the start,

but if you have been only relying on referrals it can get risky very fast because of the lack on control and inconsistent flow. Because when you talk to a referred customer it is completely different when you talk to someone who saw you online or a found you somewhere else and maybe is just a cold prospect.

These conversations are just different. The biggest mistake you can make is using the same tone of conversation you would with a referral who is already sold on using your services so even a 5 year old kid could win them vs a someone who has just heard of you.
