Post-Production is an Amplifier, Not a Savior
"Fix it in post" is the biggest lie in the content industry. Business owners show up to a shoot, deliver a terrible performance with zero energy, and assume the editor is going to magically turn it into a masterpiece. It does not work that way.
A good editor is an amplifier. If you deliver an eighty-five percent performance, a great editor can use cuts, b-roll, and pacing to make it feel like a hundred percent. But if you deliver a thirty percent performance, no editor on earth can save it. They cannot edit energy into your voice, and they cannot edit charisma into your face.
You have to take responsibility for your performance. You have to bring the energy, the tonality, and the preparation to the camera. The post-production team is there to polish the diamond, not to create it from scratch. Do the work on set, and let the editors do their job in the suite.
