New in Business? Go All-In on Content

If you’re new in business, just a couple of months in, go all in on content. Doing this correctly will give you a big advantage over your competitors.

I've spoken to quite a few business owners, and many local accountants or lawyers are so comfortable with getting referrals that they don't bother polishing their online presence. Why should they? Referrals are coming in, they're easy to close, and everyone is doing well. They're not even trying to reach new people.

Of course, some people have been in the game long enough and are paying attention to content. But the good news for you is that there aren’t a lot of them yet. The bigger competition will come when more new practices and businesses start taking content seriously.

You have an opportunity to go all-in on content. Go for it, especially if you don’t have a geographical advantage like a restaurant might.
