If you've got enough money to solve the problem, you don't have the problem.
If You Have Money to Fix It, It's Not Really a Problem
Let me tell you a story about a $2,500 lesson I learned that completely changed how I think about business problems.
Last year, I needed my website redone. Not just a basic wordpress template, I wanted good load times, proper video integration, specific animations, the works. I was getting plenty of traffic, but my landing page I knew had more potential
I got quoted $2,500+ per page. Now, most people (including me at the time) would hear that price and immediately think "I can do this cheaper."
So what did I do? I tried to learn the software myself. "I'll have this done in 2 weeks," I told myself. When that didn't work, I tried finding someone cheaper, like a third of the cost cheaper.
Here's what actually happened:
I wasted weeks trying to learn software I had no business learning
Found a "budget" developer who needed constant guidance
Got answers that showed they didn't really understand what I needed
Spent less time on marketing and content (you know, the things that actually make money)
My old, underperforming landing page stayed up the whole time
"If you have enough money to solve a problem, then you don't have a problem."
It hit me, I wasn't saving money, I was losing it. Every day I spent trying to "save" money on my website was a day I wasn't focused on growing my business.
Here's the real lesson. Stop asking "how can I do this?" and start asking "who can do this for me?" Find people who've dedicated their lives to solving the exact problem you have.
Look, if you're just starting out and genuinely don't have the budget, that's different. But if you have the money to solve a problem properly and you're still trying to find shortcuts? You're just creating bigger problems.
Think about how much your time is worth. Think about the opportunities you're missing while you try to save a few bucks. Sometimes the most expensive option is trying to do everything yourself.
Want to know the funny part? Once I hired the right people and paid what it actually costs, everything got done faster and better than I could've ever done it myself.
