If You're Not Posting Consistently, You're Losing Momentum (And Money)
I talk to business owners every week who want to post on social media.
But they think they can get away with one or two videos a week.
Or one really good video every now and then. (Which can be true if you use paid ads but there are so many nuances to it so we’re going to stick to organic)
They believe if they just make one great video, people will watch it and give them business.
That's not how it works.
You have to post daily.
Not just when you feel like it. Not just when inspiration strikes. Daily.
This isn't some arbitrary rule I made up.
It's how Instagram works.

If you want organic attention, if you want to build an audience that actually trusts and buys from you, you have to post daily.
Here's why.
First, daily posting trains the algorithm faster than sporadic posting.
When you post inconsistently, you lose momentum very quickly. The algorithm forgets about you. Your audience forgets about you.
Second, daily posting builds repetition.
It keeps you on people's screens time and time again.
People don't buy from what they see once.
Most buyers need at least 7 to 20 touchpoints before taking action.
If you're posting once a week, that's 7 to 20 weeks before someone is ready to buy.
If you're posting daily, that's 7 to 20 days.
See the difference?
Third, daily posting creates depth.
At this point, you're not just doing this for awareness.
You're training your audience on what you do.
You're building a deeper connection with them.
You're staying top of mind.
Now, I know what you're thinking.
"But what about production quality? What about making sure every video is perfect?"
Yes, quality matters.
But consistency matters more.
If you miss a day here and there when you're only posting every 5 days, that breaks momentum.
You can post every other day if you absolutely have to, but don't take 3 or 4 days off.
Daily posting also creates a content library people can binge.
When someone finds your profile, they don't just watch one video.
They scroll through your feed.
They watch 5, 10, 15 videos in a row.
If you only have 10 videos total, they're done in 5 minutes.
If you have 100 videos, they're there for an hour.
And the more time they spend with you, the more they trust you.
The more they trust you, the more likely they are to buy from you.
Here's the truth.
The businesses that are winning are not posting better videos.
They're just posting more often.
And by posting a lot, they figure out which type of content people actually like.
Then they focus on that.
So they solve the quality issue by doing more, not less.
You can't improve what you don't test.
You can't improve what you don't practice.
And you can't build an audience if you're invisible.
Daily posting is the price of entry.
If you're not willing to pay it, you're not serious about growing your business.
It's that simple.
