If you cannot spare three hours, what is actually going to change?
I was speaking with a doctor who wanted to grow his practice through social media. He could see the opportunity. He was also frustrated that the business was not growing as fast as it could.
Then we got to the filming schedule. We needed roughly three hours a month from him, split into two sessions.
He told me he did not have time.
I get it. His calendar was full of patients, and you cannot just cancel appointments to record videos. But there is a bigger problem hiding inside that answer: if every available hour is already sold, where is the time to build the next stage of the business?
You can keep buying attention through ads. That can work, and I am not going to pretend otherwise. But if the person buyers need to trust is never visible, you are asking your landing page and sales team to do all of the convincing alone.
Three hours a month was not three hours of him editing, writing scripts, checking hashtags, or remembering to post. That part is our job. We needed the one thing we could not manufacture for him: his experience and his face on camera.
No, filming is not a magic switch that produces new patients next week. And a practice that is already at capacity might need to solve staffing or delivery before it pours more people through the door. Those are real questions to work through.
But “I have no time” should start a conversation about priorities, not end it. Could the schedule protect two ninety-minute blocks? Could the team take something off the doctor’s plate? What would have to change for growth to have a place on the calendar?
The point is not that every owner should buy content tomorrow. The point is that the future of your business will keep losing to today’s appointments until you deliberately give it time.
