I don't like using Linkedin
LinkedIn Isn't For Daily Use (And That's The Problem)
LinkedIn is a powerful tool. It has great features like Sales Navigator, recruiting talent, and finding the right people. But as a day to day platform? It just doesn't work.
Compared to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and even Twitter, LinkedIn feels unnatural. When I scroll through LinkedIn, everything feels staged and inauthentic. There's no rawness like you see on other platforms.
Most people don't even scroll past the 4th or 5th post on LinkedIn. Think about that for a second. When was the last time you actually spent time scrolling LinkedIn like you do Instagram or TikTok?
This brings up a bigger question. If nobody's actively scrolling LinkedIn, is advertising even worth it? The cost per lead is significantly higher than other platforms, and the engagement is questionable.
Now LinkedIn did introduce their video feed recently which is a step in the right direction. But right now, if you're thinking about where to spend your ad budget or create content, LinkedIn shouldn't be your first choice.
This isn't me saying LinkedIn is bad. The platform has its uses. But if you're looking for daily engagement and actual results from your content, stick to platforms where people actually spend time scrolling.
Remember: Just because it's a business platform doesn't mean it's the best platform for your business.
