How to create content and post regularly even though you’re busy

So you want to create content but you just don't get the time because you're deep into fulfillment, managing people, and of course you have your personal life to live as well.

I'm going to make this super easy for you.

My clients spend just 45 minutes a week with us and have their whole content system built out. If you're in the early stages or want to test content yourself, here's exactly what to do.

Step 1: Basic Equipment Only

Just get very basic equipment:

  • Simple tripod

  • Simple ring light

  • Simple mic

Don't go all out. Spend $200-300 on good equipment, not $5,000.

Why? Because the first thing you need to solve is creating consistent content. Once you're posting consistently, then you can upgrade your setup.

Don't buy expensive gear when you're not even comfortable on camera yet.

Step 2: Content Ideas Made Simple

You don't need new ideas all the time. Your business already has everything you need.

Your customers have pain points that you're solving. Use those as individual videos:

  • What are the 5-10 most common objections customers have? Those are 10 videos.

  • What are the 10 biggest pain points customers face? Those are 10 more videos.

You can use AI for ideas too, but there's a big caveat: Don't use AI to make full scripts. Use AI to generate ideas, then answer those ideas yourself.

If you just use AI for scripts, it'll give you the most generic content that won't perform.

Step 3: Recording Efficiently

Recording is simple:

  • Use your iPhone and basic equipment

  • Make sure you have good lighting

  • Don't sit too close to a wall (keep a few feet of distance for depth)

  • Have something interesting in the background

  • Start with a good hook

In each session, aim to record 7-10 pieces of content. Since short-form content is 30-40 seconds anyway, you can batch multiple videos quickly.

Your first session might take 1-2 hours because you're just starting. But within weeks, your recording time will decrease while your output stays the same.

Step 4: Outsource The Rest

Editing is something you should outsource. If you start editing yourself, you won't have time for anything else.

You're already recording and scripting your content. That's already hours taken from your week. An editor will save you countless hours.

If possible, outsource posting too. Ideally, as soon as you stop the recording button, everything else is taken care of. Upload the footage, contact the editor and publisher, and they'll handle the rest on autopilot.

This system is extremely simple. If you do it consistently, you'll see the benefits without sacrificing your business or personal life.
