Harsh Realities of hiring cheap marketing.
Whenever you hire a cheap marketing company, the consultation you get might not be accurate.
And I say this because that company might be at a position where they just need your business.
So they're going to say anything and will experiment just to get that deal across.
Our company is at a stage where if we're talking to a business owner and we genuinely don't think we can help them, or if we think that the amount they want to spend on ads or the amount of videos they want won't work, we'll just let them know straight off the bat.
This is not going to work. And here's what is going to work in your case.
Because for us, giving you that transparency and then you having an actual successful program and then continuing to work with us is much more of a reward and benefit to us.
Rather than just signing on somebody who's going to be a headache because the wrong information was given on that sales call.

And a lot of small companies do that.
And this is what you chase for as well. Sometimes companies chase for cheap.
And then when they go to cheap, anything is said to get your business. And then when you do work on that program, nothing is done.
And then you keep going through that cycle again and again and again.
And here's the thing.
Across a year or five years, you spend the same amount anyways while just slowly growing or even plateauing.
Because think about it. If you're in business for five years, you still have to invest into marketing of any source.
That is just something you have to do when running a business. You cannot grow a business without doing so.
But there are companies who will spend upfront on good marketing and then grow faster year by year because they're just willing to put a little extra cash up front.
But then across the five years, the company who's still theoretically spending less, and this is of course me calculating the ratio between amount spent to amount earned, the company that still has the lower numbers when it comes to amount spent is the company that has grown the most.
Because they just decided to grow with somebody more competent and decided to just spend a little bit more extra cash up front.
Compared to somebody who just tries 20 different cheap options while still plateauing, while still paying the same amount that this company did.
Here's the reality.
Cheap marketing companies will say anything to get your business. Because they need your business.
They'll tell you what you want to hear. They'll promise results they can't deliver. They'll take your money and experiment on you.
And when it doesn't work, you'll move on to the next cheap option. And the cycle repeats.
Over five years, you'll spend the same amount. But you'll have nothing to show for it.
Meanwhile, the business that invested upfront with a competent company is growing faster every year.
They spent more upfront. But they spent less overall. Because they didn't waste money on 20 failed experiments.
The math is simple.
Company A: Spends $2K/month on cheap marketing for 5 years. Tries 20 different agencies. Plateaus. Total spent: $120K. Growth: Minimal.
Company B: Spends $5K/month on good marketing for 5 years. Works with one competent agency. Grows consistently. Total spent: $300K. But revenue grew 10X.
Which one actually spent less?
Company B. Because they calculated the ratio between amount spent to amount earned.
They spent more dollars. But they spent less relative to what they earned.
That's the difference.
So stop chasing cheap. Start chasing competent.
Because cheap marketing will cost you more in the long run.
