Copying someone else content strategy

Be careful when you copy someone else's content strategy. Their strategy may be working well for them, but it doesn't mean you will see the same effect.

Often, people compare profiles and just look at the stats. You have to consider many things, which I’ll explain here:

  1. Is their profile optimized for vanity or leads?

    • Are they making trending content that serves no purpose to their target audience?

  2. Are they in the same niche as you?

    • This makes a big difference in what content works.

  3. What can they do that you can't?

    • For example, can they dance or talk about a certain topic that you can’t?

  4. Who are they selling to?

    • If they’re selling to consumers with a low-ticket offer, they aim to reach as many people as possible.

Keep these factors in mind before you adopt someone else's strategy.
