Calling leads vs texting leads

If you're getting leads from Meta ads and only texting them instead of calling, you're literally losing money.

Here's exactly what I mean:

When someone fills out your form, they're interested right at that moment. You have about 1 to 5 minutes, that short window, to pick up the phone and call them. If you call within that time frame (especially during business hours), you'll see around 35% to 60% answer rates. The numbers vary depending on your industry, but calling right away makes a huge difference. Leads remember exactly what they wanted, what they signed up for, and they're way more likely to engage.

But if you're just texting leads after 2 or 3 hours, you're making it really easy for them to ignore you. Texts are simple to overlook. People see the notification, swipe it away, and never look at it again. But a phone call? People instinctively pick up calls, they’re way harder to ignore.

Calling does something else too: It lets you build real rapport, handle objections immediately, and qualify leads right on the spot. You can’t replicate that with just texting. Texting is super limited and transactional. Sure, it works occasionally, but you'll never see consistently high conversion rates from texts alone.

So track your numbers. If your lead conversion is below 20%, below 10%, or especially below 5%, that's a big red flag. It means you need to stop relying on texting and start dialing.

Remember, if you're not calling your leads, your competitors definitely are. They're calling fast, answering questions, and grabbing deals you should've closed.

Pick up the phone. Call your leads immediately. Your conversions will jump, you'll make more money, and you'll stop letting your competitors take leads right out from under you.
