Automations sequence I like to use when a new lead comes

When a new lead comes in, do not send them a long, robotic paragraph loaded with links or the dreaded "Reply STOP to opt-out." People see that and immediately think "spam."

Instead, use this proven, natural-sounding text sequence that increase response rates:

Step 1: Immediately send two short, friendly messages.

  • Message 1 (instantly):

    "Hey [Name], this is [Your Name]. Just saw your application come in."

  • Message 2 (1 minute later):

    "Wondering if you had a few minutes to connect about [XYZ offer]."

Step 2: After 1 hour, if there's no reply, send a quick follow-up:

  • "[Name]?"

This simple, conversational approach signals authenticity, something an AI or spammy automated message never does.

Why it works:

  • Real people don't send long paragraphs immediately.

  • Real people don't say, "Reply STOP to opt-out." (This needs to be included if you’re doing a lot of volume and your optin funnel should be compliant)

  • Real people often send multiple short texts.

If possible, text from your iPhone (blue bubble messages) for maximum authenticity and higher response rates, especially in the U.S.
