This is more on team building and finding the right people to help you proceed to the next stage.

A mistake I've repeatedly made when hiring is, that I would consistently try to "make it work" with a hire who didn't really have the potential for the specific role I was hiring for, and that's okay.

I kept insisting, training them more and end of day getting the same outcome, specially if you're training for a role you know that works because others do it or you do it, is a clear indicator that chances are you have not located that diamond for that position and you need to keep looking.
