Are you advertising on the right platform?
There are tons of advertising channels out there from billboards to PPC on google, emails, commercials, Youtube and Meta
In an ideal world you need to try your best to activate all relevant channels for your business using different sources (different agencies or different experts in-house).
Ask yourself this question, can your business generate demand for your service?
If you show it to random people on the street and out of a 100 people, would 1 person look at it and be like “this is interesting” or would it be more of a demand capture, meaning out of those 100 people only the person who needs it will be interested, e.g electrician, if you have an electrical issue you’re not going to wait for a Facebook ad or a YouTube ad to pop out to solve that solution, you’re going to go to a source like google to have it resolve immediately. This is Demand Capture.
By properly categorizing it you can maximize ad spend on each platform.
however
on the other side if the electrician had a service where he was offering services like
Smart Home Automation Installation: Offering to set up smart lighting, voice-activated switches, or Wi-Fi-connected outlets can attract homeowners interested in convenience and tech upgrades.
EV Charging Station Installation: As electric vehicles grow in popularity, many homeowners and businesses need charging stations installed at their properties.
These can be easily advertised on platform like meta and create a demand for it as it is something people require more often.
