All tools you NEED to properly run ads.

I've always maintained that the technical setup is the simplest and most straightforward aspect of running ads. It typically isn't the main factor determining an ad's success. Yet, I still frequently encounter poorly structured campaigns that never stand a chance.

Here’s how you ensure your ad setup is solid:

  1. Use Meta Ads Manager

    • Skip Instagram Boost and Business Suite entirely. Always set your campaigns directly in Meta Ads Manager for optimal performance and control.

  2. Choose a Platform to Receive Leads

    • A highly recommended CRM is GoHighLevel. For many businesses, it might be the only CRM needed. If you’re considering alternatives, ensure they're as efficient and robust as GoHighLevel.

    • Alternatively, if you're hesitant to integrate a new CRM and prefer using your existing setup, utilize Zapier Automations. With Zapier, leads can be delivered directly to your phone or email. However, using a dedicated CRM is recommended, particularly if you’re managing leads on your phone.

  3. Implement a Data Tracking System

    • If you're using a CRM, you likely already have built-in data tracking. Nevertheless, I recommend manually updating key metrics on a weekly basis, including:

      • Cost Per Lead (CPL)

      • Cost Per Qualified Lead (CPQL)

      • Cost Per Call

    • Additionally, track critical sales metrics:

      • Show-up rate

      • Close rate

      • Disqualification rate (DQ)

      • Follow-ups

Having detailed, updated data will pinpoint exactly what areas need improvement. Many businesses mistakenly blame marketing for poor results, which limits their growth potential. We avoid this by conducting thorough audits during sales calls before onboarding new clients.

Always track your data meticulously. It’s the key to accurately identifying and improving the exact aspects of your campaign and sales process that need attention.
