How Ads Stick in Our Minds, my Experience

Heyy, how’s it going

I wanted to share something interesting that happened to me recently. It's all about how we remember ads without even trying.

So, I was on a plane, sitting back and watching one of those ads they play. It was for a massage gun. I thought, "Okay, that's cool," and didn't think much more about it. But then, just a few days later, I realized I wanted to buy a massage gun myself. And guess what? The first one I thought of was the one from the plane ad. I didn't even bother looking at others; I just went straight for that one.

This got me thinking about how some ads are made to stick in our heads. Companies want us to remember their product so that when we actually want to buy something like it, we think of them first. It's a clever way to make sure we consider their product before anything else when we're ready to buy.

This isn't just about selling stuff, it's about making a product or brand something we remember. That way, when we're ready to buy, their name pops up in our minds first. It's like planting a seed in our brain that grows over time.

So, why does this matter? Well, it shows how important it is for companies to make ads that we'll remember, not just see once and forget. And for us as consumers, it's a reminder of how these ads are designed to influence our choices.

I thought this was pretty neat and wanted to share it with you. What do you think? Have you ever bought something because an ad stuck in your head?

Thanks,

Areeb
