2 Tips that will make you a pro on screen
Hey, lets get ready for an amazing Wednesday.
Let's talk about getting comfortable in front of the camera, shall we? Ever find yourself freezing up or stumbling over your words as soon as you hit that record button? You're not alone, there’s quite literally a lot of you.
Here's a little trick I've found helpful:
Forget about staring directly into the camera lens. Instead, try treating it like a casual conversation with a friend or an interview with someone else. It takes the pressure off and can make things feel a lot more natural.
Another tip? USE the 80/20 rule. Spend just 20% of your time directly in front of the camera, and let the other 80% be filled with b-roll footage. That's footage of whatever you're talking about, playing over your voice. It's like having a safety net—it takes the focus off you and gives you room to breathe. You can just read the script.
Trust me, the more you do it, the easier it gets. After about 30 or 40 videos, you'll be amazed at how comfortable you feel on camera.
Keep practicing, keep experimenting, and most importantly, keep being yourself.
Catch you later,
Areeb
